NPD applied for accreditation as a CSO Distributor (CSOD) for the States of South Australia and Victoria in June 2006. It was successful and is currently the only CSOD with a State-based region.
The standards in the CSO require an accredited distributor to:
Carry the full range of PBS medicines,
Be able to deliver in the designated region within 24 hours.
Reflect the industry average for high/low volume medicines, and
Reflect the industry average for rural/metro medicine shipments.
